How prolonged fasting rewired 40 years of conditioning and changed what I believed was possible
I thought I knew what hunger felt like. Turns out, I'd been confusing hunger with habit for most of my adult life.
Day 3 of my first 7-day water fast, I'm standing in my kitchen around 10 PM, staring into an empty fridge. Not because I was hungry—honestly, that had passed around hour 30—but because for 40 years, I'd trained myself to think that any empty feeling meant I needed to eat something.
That's when it clicked. This wasn't about skipping meals. This was about rewiring 40 years of conditioning.
How I Built the Foundation
